Co-Minister Rev. Stacy Pardue joined our church in November of 2018. She graduated from Yale University and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. She has served churches in Raleigh, NC and was the Chaplain at Meredith College. As Chaplain, she started initiatives in food insecurity, anti-human trafficking, interfaith dialogue, and was the founder of the Children’s Collaborative of Wake County. Moving to Athens in 2015, Stacy worked several years with the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens that supports homeless families. She is a former competitive tennis player, and now enjoys pickleball! Her husband Sam is the Dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at UGA, and they have two children; their daughter Caitlin is a health care attorney in Atlanta and their son Taylor is in finance in San Francisco.
Rev. Justin, Co-Minister, started his ministry at FCC Athens in January of 2016. He received his bachelors degree from Texas Christian University in 2010 and his Masters of Divinity from Claremont School of Theology in 2013. Justin has served several churches in Texas, California and now Georgia. He likes college football, country music, and good bbq. He is married to his wife Catie and they have a cat, Bailey, a dog Gary, and in summer 2017 they welcomed their first child, Charlie.
Angie Townsend serves as our church secretarty and office manager. She has been with First Christian since January 2016.
Shellie Mull and Cassie Kitchen
Ms. Shellie and Ms. Cassie are our two nursery attendants. They have a passion for working with babies and pre-schoolers. They have many years experience working with this age group. Ms. Shellie is a LPN and can often be seen playing with her dog Lady.
Ms. Cassie can get any baby to stop crying. She works at Athens Regional in the lab and on Saturdays you can always find her cheering on the Dawgs!
