First Christian Church of Athens

First Christian Church participates with approximately 13 other congregations in the Athens community to serve our brothers and sisters struggling to cope without a secure home for themselves and their families. Participating congregations host families in the Interfaith Hospitality Network one week every quarter. There are opportunities to serve through preparing and/or serving food, staying overnight, as well as transporting families to and from the Day Center on Hancock Street.
