First Christian Church of Athens

The community garden is the result of efforts from members of the Mt. Horeb class, a graduating class of LEAD Athens, and residents of Denny Tower. Together, we have designed and created a garden that feeds the body and the soul. Located behind the Grubb House, the garden produces a collection of flowers, herbs, and vegetables that primarily benefit the residents of Denny Tower. Flowers and produce are also grown for members and friends of the church that are shut in or in the hospital. This is a wonderful work of community creating and growing good things together.
