Sunday School Classes

Children's Sunday School: Our fabulous teachers engage the children through activities, stories, conversation, art, and service.  the children have developed a wonderful sense of community and hospitality and enact that welcoming spirit through sidewalk chalk nearly every Sunday morning.
New Beginnings: New Beginnings is a very relaxed class with open discussions of religion as it relates to our current society. This class deals with issues of marriage, kids and friends and how they all work together within the church and in everyday life. Meeting every other week keeps our discussions fresh and helps cope with today's busy schedules.

M&M: The M&M Sunday School class is comprised of individuals and couples who are "middle-aged and more". Our emphasis is on study, service and fellowship. The course of study is determined by consensus; service includes response to senior and other needs in our community; and, fellowship occurs during class and at other gatherings. Come join us for these aspects of community life and for M&M's!
BYKOTA: The word, "BYKOTA" means "Be Ye Kind One To Another." Dr. Robert Nix, a retired university professor and son of a Christian Church minister, leads the class. With a combination of scripture and commentary from the International Sunday School lesson, Dr. Nix leads the class through the background of the text. All adults are welcome to this class. The BYKOTA class supports the youth of the church with monthly donations, as well as the Salvation Army, Red Cross, Orphan’s Home, and others as needs arise.
Joy: The JOY Class lesson material is a study of the Bible, book by book - chapter by chapter - verse by verse, and each person has an opportunity to state their interpretation or ask questions about the passage. The teacher of the class gives information on background, interpretation from various commentaries, and application to life today in the truths we learn or have reinforced in our Christian walk of life. This is gleaned from many hours of study during the week in preparation for each Sunday's lesson. Every person is valued and each person's opinion is respected. Our goal is to learn what the Word of God teaches. We welcome all who wish to join with us in this type of study.
